Dhaka District:

Dhaka District (Bengali: ঢাকা $জলা, Dhaka jela) is a district in central Bangladesh. It is a part of the Dhaka Division. Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, rests on the eastern banks of the Buriganga River which flows from the Turag to the south of the district. While Dhaka (city corporation) occupies only about a fifth of the area of Dhaka district, it is the economic, political, and cultural centre of the district and the country as a whole. Dhaka district consists of Dhaka city, Keraniganj, Nababganj, Dohar, Savar, and Dhamrai upazila. Dhaka District is an administrative entity, and like many other cities, it does not cover the modern conurbation which is Greater Dhaka, which has spilled into neighbouring districts, nor does the conurbation cover the whole district, as there are rural areas within the district. Gazipur District: Gazipur District is located at just north of capital city of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The previous name of the region is “Joydebpur”. Once, the region was under the deep jungle of Vowal Pargana (Sub- Division). Gazipur district is one of the ancient and historical region with hundreds years old tradition. Sakeswar Monument of emperor Ashok period, Dardia fort of Mourja period, Buddhist Monastery of the king Dhol Samudra reminds us the history of 2500 years ago. The first Bengali dictionary and grammar and the first printed book of prose (1733) was written by Portugal priests in the region. Besides the best Muslin (very thin fabrics) of the country was produced in Titbati village in Kapashia that was very popular throughout the world. During the liberation war, first armed defence was introduced from the region in 19 March. There are 19 KPI, 05 universities, the one and only High- Tech Park of the country and a number of government, semi government and private offices and industries.

Narayangonj District:

(Bengali: নারায়ণগ,, romanized: Narayoṇgonj) is a district in central Bangladesh which is a part of the Dhaka Division.[1] It is home to the ancient city of Sonargaon and is one of the oldest industrial districts in the country. The district lies on the banks of the Delete and the Sheetolokkha River. It is an industrial hub and plays an important part in the country's jute trade, plant processing and sector. It is nicknamed the "Dundee of Bangladesh" due to the presence of many jute mills.
